How choices work

Essential cookies are required for authentication, security, consent memory, and core network operation and cannot be disabled through KU Spark. Preference, analytics, and marketing storage stays off until you opt in. You can change or withdraw optional choices at any time from Cookie settings. Withdrawing preference cookies removes saved theme and language cookies; your current screen may keep the choice only until the session or page ends.

02

Essential cookies

  • better-auth session cookies: authenticate your account, protect sessions, and cache a short-lived signed session where enabled. Duration follows the session configuration.
  • ku-spark-cookie-consent: stores the categories you selected and the policy version so the service can honor the choice for up to 1 year.
  • ku-spark-anonymous-id: an HttpOnly random identifier used to link anonymous consent evidence without storing the raw identifier in the database; retained for up to 1 year.
  • Security, load-balancer, or hosting cookies may be set only when necessary to deliver and protect the service.
03

Preference cookies

  • ku-spark-locale: remembers English or Thai for up to 1 year.
  • ku-spark-theme: remembers light, dark, or system appearance for up to 1 year.
04

Analytics and marketing

KU Spark does not currently load analytics or marketing cookies. These categories exist so any future integration must remain blocked until you opt in and the policy is updated with its provider, purpose, and duration. An enabled switch is not permission for an undisclosed tool.

05

Other local technology

The progressive web app may use a service worker and browser cache to load application files and updates. These are core delivery mechanisms rather than advertising trackers. Third-party content you deliberately request, such as GIPHY search, may contact that provider and is governed by the provider’s own notice.

06

Browser controls and contact

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login and other core functions. Use Cookie settings for the most reliable in-app choice and Feedback and Request for questions.
