Terms of Service

Eligibility

You may use KU Spark only if you are at least 18 years old, are a current or former Kasetsart University student, and control a valid @ku.th email address. You must provide accurate account information, including your current study or graduation status. You must not create an account for another person. The Operator may suspend or terminate an account if available information indicates that the user is not eligible.

Account security

• You must keep your password and verification codes confidential. You must notify the Operator promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You are responsible for activity conducted through your account until you notify the Operator of unauthorized access, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.
• You must not create deceptive duplicate accounts or use another account to avoid a suspension or termination.

Permitted use and safety

KU Spark provides student discovery, matching, messaging, upload, reporting, and feedback functions. You must comply with these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and applicable law. The Operator does not guarantee a match, another user’s identity or statements, compatibility, conduct, or safety during an in-person meeting. You are responsible for exercising reasonable care, protecting personal information, and choosing a safe public meeting place.

User content and licence

You retain ownership of content that you submit. You grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, format, transmit, display, and moderate that content. The Operator may exercise this licence only as necessary to operate, protect, improve, and enforce KU Spark.

The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies that must be retained for safety, legal obligations, dispute evidence, or reasonable backup periods.

• You may submit only content that you own or are authorized to submit.
• You must not submit another person’s private or sensitive information without that person’s permission or another lawful basis.
• You may remove content by using the available controls. Content may cease to appear in the service before deletion from storage has been verified.

Moderation and enforcement

The Operator may review reports, restrict the visibility of content, remove content, preserve evidence, issue a warning, suspend an account, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate action. You may submit a complaint or appeal through Feedback and Request.

Service changes and external services

The Operator may change, suspend, or discontinue a feature for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. External services used for functions such as email delivery or optional media search are subject to their own terms and may be unavailable. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Account deletion and termination

You may request account deletion through the privacy-request process. KU Spark will queue deletion or anonymization as described in the Privacy Policy. Completion may be delayed or limited where data must be retained for legal obligations, safety, a recorded legal hold, or legal claims. The Operator may terminate an account where the user is ineligible or materially breaches these Terms.

Changes, applicable law, and contact

The law and courts applicable to these Terms depend on the identity and location of the Operator, your location, and any mandatory law. These Terms do not limit any consumer or data-protection right that cannot lawfully be limited. A material change will be issued under a new version and may require renewed acceptance.
